Highlights
- Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in the Adoration Chapel Starting on Tuesday, April 5th at 9 am we will begin to expose the Blessed Sacrament in the Adoration Chapel rather than in the church body. We are limiting the adorers to 2 in the Chapel (unless of the same household). Those currently scheduled, as well as new adorers / returning adorers, please call Don at 519-364-1185 to book or confirm your committed hour. We will look at extending it into the evening if sufficient adorers are in place.
- Update on Parish Liturgies / Life Be informed about what changes have taken place as we transition into ‘Fully Re-open” This also includes important information regarding Children’s Liturgy & Altar Serving
Update on Parish Liturgies / Life
Masks are no longer required in any churches, parish offices, meeting spaces and parish halls in the Diocese of Hamilton. While they are no longer required, we must respect those who chose to continue wearing masks because of personal choice.
Our churches are now open for full capacity; physical distancing is no longer required. Once again, we must be sensitive to those who wish to be seated apart because of personal choice.
Celebrations of the Children’s Liturgy of the Word are permitted. *1
Altar Servers are permitted. *2
Gifts of Bread & Wine may be presented as was the custom prior to the beginning of the pandemic.
For the time being, masks or shields are to be worn by Priests and others when distributing Communion. This will ensure both safety and comfort for all who come forward for Communion.
For the time being, those who wish to receive Communion on the tongue are asked to come forward after the rest of the assembly has received Communion on the hand.
Communion from the Chalice is not permitted at this time.

This Sunday’s Gospel
Luke 15: 1-3, 11-32
- How have you experienced God as similar to this father?
- When have you been like the older brother, quietly resentful of God’s lavishness to less deserving people? Why?
- What small step can you take to reconcile with someone, or some harbored feelings this week?
