We are excited to once again offer Children’s Liturgy at the 9 am Mass
We welcome parents with young children to consider our Children’s Liturgy program as part of your child’s (age 4-7) Mass experience. Children will be invited forward who would like to attend the Children’s Liturgy in the Lenhard Room following the opening of Mass, until the offertory when they will come back into the main body of the church to rejoin their families. Each week children will hear a simplified version of the Gospel passage and engage in age appropriate discussion and learning activities/ crafts related to the gospel message. No pre-registration required. For more information contact Shari our CL coordinator at 519-364-6916 or the parish office.
Are you, or someone you know interested in becoming a Catholic?
If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith, we invite you to contact the parish office. This fall we will have a program RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) for the purpose of sharing what the Catholic Church teaches and to support those discerning this decision. The program has an initial inquiry period and then progresses through many important topics of faith, shared, discussed and experienced in meaningful ways. Everyone’s faith journey is unique and special, and God’s love is powerful and exciting, bringing new life to whomever is open to receive it. More info: 519-364-1973
Card Parties Starting Tues. Sept. 13th – All are welcome
Join with others for a friendly game of Euchre or Solo on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm in the Holy Family Lenhard Room. Everyone welcome, bring a friend. Admittance: $2.
This Sunday’s Gospel
Luke 15: 1-32
Discussion Questions
- Have you experienced ‘being sought out and found’ by our Lord, the Good Shepherd?
- Have you met others who have expressed a sense of ‘unworthiness’ to attend Mass and be part of a faith community because of some past choices / experiences? Could you lead them to this parable?
- What is your current struggle, that is hampering your relationship with the Father? Have you taken it to the sacrament of reconcilation yet? If not, why?
