Come Home For Christmas

Any time is a good time to invite family, friends, and neighbours to attend Mass. Especially so during the beautiful Christmas season. What better gift can we give a loved one who is away from the Church than a warm invitation to Come Home for Christmas? Whether they have been away for a short time or a long time, we want all Catholics to know that they are warmly welcomed back to our Parish community. Please consider extending this invitation to loved ones, neighbours, and colleagues – for more information, visit http://hamiltondiocese.com

A Message from our Pastor, Fr. Romelito

CHRISTMAS GREETINGS

The mysterious plan of God is this, the Almighty God is born and this Child has brought us a greatest gift of all, Redemption.

Christmas, as we joyfully celebrate it, should not be taken only as the historical birth because God’s glorious act of redemption is not only an event and the story of the past. God’s redeeming grace in the Holy Spirit continues to create and re-create us and the world. It is working in progress.

The noise of the world; wars, suffering, plague and inequality are just the result of our fallen nature. God knows that they will eventually lead to confusion and illusion. It is for this reason, God gave us His Son to bring peace to our hearts, a new vision of joy and hope that cannot be given by our material world but only by Jesus.

For all what God has done for us and for all what we have been through, we invite our parishioners to “come back” physically to our Church.  We long to see you once again, so that as a family, in our thanksgiving and worship, we can gain more strength by one’s presence stronger ever as before.

To all of us, especially to our dedicated volunteers and generous parishioners, thank you for all your support. We continue to hope that as we “walk together” at this challenging time of our journey, we always remain to be His people, a leaven in making our place brighter.

May God bless you and your family this Christmas! May Jesus by His light dispel the darkness in us, and may our hearts be filled with Christ’s hope and joy!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!   Fr. Romelito Guillen

Christmas Flowers and Church Decoration

It’s so beautiful!   Thank you to one and all who assisted with the outdoor nativity, outdoor urns, trees and wreaths, donated towards flowers,  decorated the trees and church, assembled the indoor nativity for our celebration of Christmas.  It’s beauty and splendor assist greatly in preparing our hearts to receive Jesus more fully and aid in providing the hope and joy which he desires for all.
