Community Yard Sale   Sat.  Volunteer Team being assembled for Lenhard Kitchen Supply

We are seeking a team of 4 volunteers to coordinate supplying the Lenhard Kitchen.   Volunteers would help on a rotating schedule   responsible for various duties (about 1-2 hours time per week) including shopping for specials.   Team work and good communication necessary.     For more information contact the parish office.

Adoration Chapel

Our Adoration Chapel is open Mondays at 9 am until Thursday at 8 pm.  Come spend quiet time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.  If you would like to commit to a specific hour – contact Don at 364-1185.

 Walkerton and Hanover Right to Life Annual General Meeting, Dinner and Silent Auction.  Monday May 1, 2023 at the Walkerton Knights of Columbus Hall.  Social at 6:00 / Dinner at 6:30.  Guest Speaker will be Alex Schadenberg of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition.  Tickets until April 17 are $25.  After April 17: $30.  Ages 4 – 12 are $12.  Tickets are available soon at Holst Office Supplies, Hanover or at Holy Family Parish Office.   Thank you  Jean Hedley    519-507-1956

School Volunteers Needed

Holy Family School Breakfast Program seeking volunteers to assist with food preparation  from 8-9 am .  Chose how often you want to help and become part of the team!   If you would like to assist with this rewarding work, providing healthy food for students, contact Tracy at 519-506-5665.

Card Party on Tuesday Afternoons  – All are welcome   Join with others for a friendly game of euchre or solo on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm, in the Holy Family Lenhard Room.  All are welcome, bring a friend.  $2.  Admittance  

Hike for Hospice  Sunday, May 7th at 1 pm   –  three local locations:

  1. Hanover Pavilion Park, 742 7th Ave.             2. Walkerton Agricultural Building
  2. Mildmay Lions Pavilion More information – pledge sheets in the Narthex or donate on line at  www.saugeen hospice.ca

Plans are in progress to build a six bed hospice at the edge of Walkerton.  This will be a Hospice providing end of life care for the residents of south Grey Bruce and surrounding area.  Hike for Hospice is our major fundraiser.  Several members of our church are participating and would welcome your support.  All donations of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt.
