Children’s Liturgy taking place at St. Francis Xavier on Sunday, June 25th

Please note – on the day of our picnic, the children’s liturgy will NOT take place in Hanover at the 9 am Mass but will be offered instead at St. Francis Xavier’s 11 am Mass.  We hope all our families will come and enjoy the Celebration and picnic afterwards!  The CL Team

St. Francis Xavier Church’s 150th Anniversary in celebration with Holy Family Parish Picnic

11:00 am Anniversary Mass in Carlsruhe  Main Celebrant:  Archbishop Peter Hundt  Parish Picnic to follow at the beautiful St. Francis Xavier church grounds.  This is a joint event for all our parishes: St. Francis Xavier, St. Anne & Holy Family.  The Knights will provide a BBQ – we ask that you bring pot luck salad or dessert to share (in a cooler)  &  lawn chair(s).  The Holy Family Children’s Liturgy Team are children’s liturgy at the 11 am Mass as well as games & activities for the children during the picnic.  Perhaps we can get a game of volleyball going for the young and the young at heart!  Plan to come  & celebrate our joint faith community  – a sign up sheet to help us prepare is posted!

Please join us for our CWL General Meeting on June 12 starting at 6:00 p.m. with a pot luck meal. We will also be exchanging books and plants that evening. Bring a book – take a book, bring a plant – take a plant.

Spring Unify happens Wednesdays

A light meal begins the evening at 6 pm – bring a salad to share if you can.   Service starts at 6:30 pm and ends about 8 pm. It will include worship, a teaching, sharing and praying.  Our hope is for nice weather so we can be outside in the parking lot.  Bring a lawn chair & dress accordingly.  Bring friends,  your children  –  it’s for everyone!

Universal Studio’s has delivered the pictures that were ordered!  You can pick them up after Mass this weekend, or on Wednesday morning between 9 – 12 noon.

Milk Mat Workshops

Wed. June 14th is our final workshop until September.  Please keep saving your milk bags at home, and bring them in next fall when we start up again!

Request for Queen Size Mattress – Our St. Vincent de Paul has had a request for a queen size mattress.  If you have one in good condition to donate, please leave a message at the parish office.

Volunteer Team being assembled for Lenhard Kitchen Supply

We are seeking a team of 3 more volunteers to coordinate supplying the Lenhard Kitchen.   Volunteers would help on a rotating schedule  responsible for various duties (about 1-2 hours time per week when they are scheduled) including shopping for specials.   Team work and good communication necessary.   For more information contact the parish office.

Adoration Chapel

Our Adoration Chapel is open Mondays at 9 am until Thursday at 8 pm.  Come spend quiet time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.  If you would like to commit to a specific hour – contact Don at 364-1185.

Card Parties wrap up on Tuesday June 20th  Join with others for a friendly game of euchre or solo on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm, in the Holy Family Lenhard Room.  All are welcome, bring a friend.  $2.  Admittance
