Are you, or someone you know, interested in becoming a Catholic?
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the normal way in which adults become full, active, participating members of the Catholic Church.
If you are considering becoming Catholic, or know of someone who is interested in becoming a Catholic, please pick up from the narthex the brochure “Consider Becoming a Catholic,” fill out the form on the back and drop it into the parish office, or in the collection basket. The office will then organize an appointment for the inquirer to see Fr. Romelito. Appointments are conducted in a casual format and should be completed by early September as we plan to commence the next RCIA program in October. We will meet weekly from October to early May next year.
Everyone’s faith journey is uniquely special, and God’s love is powerful and exciting, bringing new life to whomever is open to receive it. Parish Office: 519-364-1973, Ext. 0 or info@holyfamily.ca
Scripture Quote to Ponder and Put in Action:
“If any of you is without wisdom, let him ask it from the God who gives generously and ungrudgingly to all, and it will be given him.” James 1:5
Reflection on Today’s Gospel:
- Mark 6: 7-13
- How do you share the Good News with other people in your life?
- Who shares in everyday conversation with you, the witness to their faith?
- How does it motivate you spiritually?
- Praying with others for healing is something we can all do as believers. Embrace your next opportunity.
