The Loaves and the Fishes

God can use even the simplest of offerings

Highlights

  • Based on current recommendations and requirements from the Province, the local Health Unit and the Diocese, wearing a mask at Mass is still highly recommended, but not required. We politely remind you that they are mandatory in most public indoor spaces and retail settings. Our very own Dr. Randy Montag made a video explaining mask use and how to use one.
  • Welcome Fr. Emmanuel Azike! Watch an interview of Fr. Emmanuel speaking about his conversion, his vocation, and his message to all of us.
  • Weekday Mass is being held in the Narthex/Lenhard Room and not in the church. Please allow yourself a bit of extra time the first time you attend.

Matthew 14:13-21

Discussion Questions

  1. Jesus’ heart was “moved with pity” for the people who had gathered to see him. What do you need Jesus to have concern about in your life right now?
  2. How does the child’s offering of bread and fish relate to the offerings we might bring to the Lord? Do you ever feel inadequate to serve him?
