Considering becoming a Catholic?
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the normal way in which adults become full, active, participating members of the Catholic Church. If you are considering becoming Catholic or know of someone who is interested in becoming a Catholic, please pick up from the narthex the brochure “Consider Becoming a Catholic,” fill out the form on the back (including an email address if you have one) and drop it into the parish office, or in the collection basket. The office will then organize an appointment for the inquirer to see Fr. Romelito.  Interviews with Father are informal and should be completed by September as we plan to commence the next RCIA program in October. We will meet weekly from October to late April next year. For further information, please contact Francis-Joseph (FJ) Gross, the RCIA coordinator, on 519-364-2072 or fjhgross@wightman.ca

Interested in journeying alongside a RCIA candidate as a Catholic Sponsor? Learn more. Contact F.J. Gross (see above information)

Let’s work together for a Scent-free Environment – please note some members of our community have very negative reactions to scents. Thank you.

Play a Musical Instrument?
Consider volunteering and sharing your gift and talent at the Sunday 11am Mass in Carlsruhe. Please speak with Claire or Mary-Catherine after Mass.

Reflection on Today’s Gospel Luke 12: 49-53

  • How does this passage impact your inner peace?
  • What kind of fire is Jesus referring to?
  • What is the stress he might be referring to and the ‘completion’?
  • What must you complete in hope of hearing ‘well done my good & faithful servant”
  • Pray for families caught in divisions and for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit to bring light to darkness and unify families in the salvation of Jesus Christ.
