Considering becoming a Catholic? RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the normal way in which adults become full, active, participating members of the Catholic Church.

If you are considering becoming Catholic, or know of someone who is interested in becoming a Catholic, please pick up from the narthex the brochure “Consider Becoming a Catholic,” fill out the form on the back and drop it into the parish office, or in the collection basket. The office will then organize an appointment for the inquirer to meet our Pastor. Appointments are conducted in a casual
format and should be completed before commencement of the next RCIA program in early fall.

Reflection on Today’s Gospel
Re-read Matthew 14: 22 – 33

Of all your adventures in life, which was
the most daring?
Why do you think Jesus wanted to pray
alone?
What do you see in your own life that
parallels Peter’s attempt to walk on
water?
When did you feel God’s presence and
assurance and how can this strengthen
you today?
