Highlights:

  • Please note: the parish office will be closed on Monday, Feb. 24th
  • Would you be interested in proclaiming the scriptures at Mass?

Proclaiming the Scriptures If you are interested in serving the parish community by lectoring, at Mass, (in any one of our three churches) please contact the parish office. On Monday, March 24th, 6-9 pm there will be a Diocesan lead workshop at St. Francis Xavier Church in Carlsruhe. This will give potential readers or experienced readers an opportunity to learn more about liturgy, sacred scripture and the tools available to help you prepare to proclaim, as well as ask practical questions. We all have different gifts and abilities – if reading aloud is one of yours, consider sharing it with the church community as a service to God. Thank you.

Play a Musical Instrument?
Consider volunteering and sharing your gift and talent at the Sunday 11am Mass in Carlsruhe. Please speak with Claire or Mary-Catherine after Mass.

Reflection on Today’s Gospel Luke 6:27-38 Discussion Questions

1. What can we do, to share God’s love with those not in our circle of family and friends?
2. Is there someone you need to forgive from your heart?
3. Think of one person or situation that you struggle with judgement about, and pray for the grace to see with new eyes, and a merciful heart.
4. Consider receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation this week. Let the action affirm your intentions.
