Canadian Food for Children – Hanover Annual Report
In 2021, our local branch of Canadian Food For Children sorted and packed boxes of mostly clothing and household items for the poor in 3rd World Countries. Among the other items donated were children’s toys, food, school supplies, medical supplies, soap, tooth brushes, tools, pneumonia vests, milk bag matts, etc. In all, there were 112 boxes packed during 9 different packing sessions. All boxes were then delivered to Cuneo Interiors in Hanover. We are grateful to Cuneo’s for transporting the boxes to the CFFC warehouse in Mississauga at no cost to CFFC. Once donated items arrive in Mississauga, they are packed into shipping containers to be shipped overseas.
As always, we are very grateful for the donations that we can then pack and send on their way. All items mentioned above are welcome. As a reminder, all donated items should be in good repair (no holes or tears in clothing) and clean/tidy that they are suitable to wear. We cannot donate items that are worn out, torn, dirty, etc. – thanks.
Please keep CFFC in mind when you are in the grocery store, or when you have clothing that you wish to donate. Note also that cash donations to CFFC to assist with overseas shipping is very appreciated. CFFC will issue tax receipts for your cash donations. Their mailing address is: CFFC, 1258 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga, Ontario, L5E 1E9. Thank you!

Discussion Questions
- What happened to all the fish?
- Why does Jesus say to Simon, “Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching people.” What was the fear that Peter had?
- Is there times you fail to try, because you feel you lack the ability or the potential that is being sought? How might you approach it differently now, having pondered this gospel?
