Reflection on Today’s Gospel
Matthew 3:13-17 Serving God
From doing our everyday tasks to the best of our ability and with love, to taking on a special apostolate, we are all called to serve.
Do I do my daily tasks joyfully, with love and thankfulness? Do I pray and offer small acts of kindness for souls in purgatory? Do I serve the parish family and/or the community in some way?
Open my heart Oh Lord, and help me to give of myself that when I meet thee you will say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
