What exactly is Unify all about?
“Unify” is an event intended to unite people together under Christ for a time of worship, preaching, prayer, and community building. It is different from other church events because it is designed with “the seeker” in mind – someone who is looking for answers, but still far from a formal membership in the Church. The message centres on the Gospel message of hope and salvation in Jesus, with an emphasis on the testimonies of stories and testimonies of Christians in our community.
Unify is designed from the ground up to be welcoming to all people of all ages and all walks of life. For this reason, we encourage our regular Parishioners to make use of this opportunity by bringing seekers in your family, workplace, and friend circles to Unify as an initial step toward finding faith in God. Also, if you are feeling down, struggling, lonely, or in need of hope and encouragement, come to Unify and give your own soul some nourishment!
An outline of Unify nights:
5:45pm – Doors open
6:00pm – Light Meal
6:30pm – Unify service
8:00pm – Dessert and Fellowship
Available all evening:
-Free coffee and snacks

Dear Parishioners:
A sincere thank you to all who in any way helped to make our Christmas Hamper program a great success. May God bless you for your generosity to our monthly envelope collection and the extra donations given before Christmas. Through the kindness of donations we were able to provide hampers to 75 families/individuals, including gifts for 60 children this Christmas. Thank you for picking up gift requests from the giving tree and providing beautiful gifts and gift cards for the children. During the year we were able to assist 421 adults and 203 children during 280 church visits. Nearly 11,000 pounds of food was given out in 2022 with outreach and Christmas hampers.
Your donations also help support other campaigns for those less fortunate throughout the year: Sponsoring children to summer camp, Special circumstances funding for outstanding expenses, based on need, i.e. heating, hydro, etc.
It is truly heartwarming to see our parish family serve those less fortunate with love, respect, justice and joy. May God bless us all in this coming year.
With grateful thanks, Society of St. Vincent de Paul Holy Family Parish Conference
