Highlights:

  • Community Breakfast – this Sunday, January 5th: A delightful breakfast will be served following 9 am Mass up to 1 pm. All are invited to come out and enjoy a time together. The cost is a free will offering with all donations going to support Holy Family Parish. We thank the Knights of Columbus for organizing this monthly event, the first Sunday of each month that supports fellowship and fundraising.

St. Francis Xavier Quilting
The Carlsruhe ladies will begin tying quilts on Monday, January 6, 2025, at the hall of the Carlsruhe Church. We start at 1:00 to 4:00 on Monday afternoons. These quilts are sent to Dr. Simone in Toronto and are forwarded to third world countries.  Everyone is welcome & no experience is necessary.  If you need more information please call Anne Schwan 367-5466, Cathy Weber 881-1448 or Joan Stroeder 881-0978.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul Do you have a few hours per month to help serve the poor?
We are looking for new members for our committee. We meet once a month, with 2 mtgs in November, none in July/Aug. Getting involved could include helping with visits at the church (we always work in pairs) and/or helping with grocery shopping. Milk Mat Work Bee – Wed. January 8th, 1:30 – 3:30 No experience necessary – come out and help us make mats for the missions.

Two As One Series for Married Couples Will your New Year’s Resolutions include re-focusing on the gift of marriage?  Our Two As One series will run each Thursday evening after Mass, starting January 23rd, and will continue for six weeks.  This is a great opportunity for a weekly Catholic reflection on marriage, and to share some fellowship with other married couples in our parish.  Married couples of all ages, please consider joining us!

  • What is a special dream that you experienced?
  • How do you think God most often gives you messages… (through scripture, dreams, other people?)
  • Do you think there are times Jesus is speaking to you, but you are not attentive enough to hear? Has that happened, that after you thought…. “I think I was being warned” What can we learn from those experiences?
