Are you, or someone you know, interested in becoming a Catholic?
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the normal way in which adults become full, active, participating members of the Catholic Church.
If you are considering becoming Catholic, or know of someone who is interested in becoming a Catholic, please pick up from the narthex the brochure “Consider Becoming a Catholic,” fill out the form on the back and drop it into the parish office, or in the collection basket. The office will then organize an appointment for the inquirer to see Fr. Romelito. Appointments are conducted in a casual format and should be completed by early September as we plan to commence the next RCIA program in October. We will meet weekly from October to early May next year.
Everyone’s faith journey is uniquely special, and God’s love is powerful and exciting, bringing new life to whomever is open to receive it. Parish Office: 519-364-1973, Ext. 0 or info@holyfamily.ca
Scripture Quote to Ponder and Put in Action:
“As water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man” – Proverbs 27:19
Reflection on Today’s Gospel: John 6: 1-15
- Ponder recognizing what one has, being thankful and asking God to bless it, rather than dwelling on the great needs we alone cannot fill:
- Name 5 things you have been blessed with?
- What are 2 needs you feel helpless to fill? Lift these to the Lord in Prayer.
- Pray for patience in God’s timing and wisdom to use wisely all that you’ve been given!
