This Sunday’s Gospel

John 20:19-23

Discussion Questions

1. John records Jesus saying “Peace be with you” three times.  Why might this be significant of all the things Jesus might have said?

2. Where could you use Jesus’ peace right now?

3. Jesus invites the disciples to receive and Holy Spirit and then speaks to them about their ability to forgive or retain forgiveness of sins.  Why?  How does this apply to our lives?

4. Has the Holy Spirit prompted you recently?  How?
