- Thank you to members & supporters of the Catholic Women’s League The rectory is 43 years old, and over the last number of years we have been slowing doing updates. A tub surround was just replaced with a shower unit at a total cost of $5,626.03 which the Catholic Women’s League has generously paid for. Once again such blessings are helping us keep our operating costs as low as possible. Whether being a member or participating in fundraising efforts, we thank those who have made this contribution possible!
St. Francis Xavier – Important Meeting
The St. F.X. Finance Committee would like to invite all parishioners and friends to meet after Mass on Sunday, March 16th to discuss the parish finances. Items to consider include replacement of the existing furnaces, on-going repair work, and planning for the repair, restoration or replacement of the stained-glass windows. As well as providing current information, we would like to discuss and identify priorities for any future work, and develop a possible plan for fundraising.
It is imperative that direction comes from parishioners and that decisions concerning the continued maintenance of our building be made as a parish. Please plan to attend.
Mark you calendar for next Saturday!

Proclaiming the Scriptures If you are interested in serving the parish community by lectoring, at Mass, (in any one of our three churches) please contact the parish office. On Monday, March 24th, 6-9 pm there will be a Diocesan lead workshop at St. Francis Xavier Church in Carlsruhe. This will give potential readers or experienced readers an opportunity to learn more about liturgy, sacred scripture and the tools available to help you prepare to proclaim, as well as ask practical questions. We all have different gifts and abilities – if reading aloud is one of yours, consider sharing it with the church community as a service to God. Thank you.

- What word or phrase stands out to you from this passage?
- Reflect on the words “For it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks”
- What occupies most of your conversation? Do you need to decrease some, and increase other “treasures” in your heart?
