CWL Christmas Dinner The CWL welcomes members and all ladies including those of the Chesley and Carlsruhe parishes to come to our Christmas dinner on Tuesday, November 21, beginning with Mass at 5pm.  Harleys will cater a scrumptious turkey dinner.  Tickets are $28 and will be available after Masses this weekend and next, or at the parish office during the week.  The evening will also include a Silent Auction.  Come and enjoy! Altar Serving Children in Grade 3 and up are invited to come out on Tuesday Nov. 7th from 3:30 – 5 pm to begin training.  Contact Sam for more details.  Children who attend St.  Francis and St. Anne are also welcome.  Training will take place  Nov. 14th, and Nov. 21st as well.  On the 21st the training will be extended till 6 pm The Giving Tree The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is busy planning and preparing for the annual Christmas Hamper program for the less fortunate in our community.  We like to make a difference and bring some joy to their lives this Christmas. If you’d like to assist a needy family this Christmas please pick up a “Gift Card” from the Giving Tree.  Fill out your name and place that portion in the Donor Box  while keeping with you the tear off section listing the age and size of a child. Milk Mat Work Bee   Wed. Nov. 8th at 1:30 pm in the Lenhard Room – Everyone Welcome Next Weekend the CWL Change for Charity Jar will be out.  Proceeds go to support Saugeen Hospice. St. Francis Xavier Cemetery News    The Cemetery is closed for the Winter Season.  Inquiries, questions and information on the purchase of plots can be made at the Holy Family Parish Office.   Thank you. Catholic Women’s League Membership Due (Month of November) The Catholic Women’s League of Canada is an amazing organization focusing on personal spiritual development, supporting and encouraging others, and contributing to the church and the world today.  Our Holy Family Council is now collecting 2024 membership dues of $40.   Mark “CWL membership” on an envelope with your contact information and put it in the offering box or drop into the parish office.  Those submitted by Dec. 1st will have their name entered in a draw for a free membership.  If you want to know more about becoming a member, contact Geraldine Million at 519-363-9690 Card Parties on Tuesday afternoons     Solo & Euchre  – Beginning at 1:30 pm   Admission is $2.00  Everyone welcome – bring a friend Spend one hour a week in quiet prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.  It’s a great opportunity to focus on living out the two great commandments spoken of in today’s gospel.  For more info please call the parish office.
