Community Brunch Report Thank you to all who helped and came out to enjoy and support last weekend’s Community Brunch. Your generous free will donations tallied to $873.50 which the Knights will use to support their Charitable works. A special thanks to the members of the Knights of Columbus as they not only organized this event but also sponsor it, by assuming the costs of the foods.
Needed this week: Milk Bags
At the upcoming Faith Formation Day, for the BGCDSB the one workshop engages participants in a service project. The presenter has chosen the tying and weaving of Milk Bags. You donations of clean milk bags (especially by Thursday this week) would be greatly appreciated.

Friday Morning Small Group
Are you looking to share your thoughts and inspirations with the church? Our group meets every Friday at 10 am. We delve into the coming Sunday’s readings. It provides fellowship and an opportunity to share life experiences with each other in confidence. Everyone is welcome.
Socktober
The cold weather is upon us and new warm socks are often one of the most requested items of need. The Catholic Women’s League is seeking donations of socks during the month of October. These will be distributed as needed to local residents seeking assistance from St. Vincent de Paul, Christmas Hamper recipients, and abroad . Purchase a pair of socks in Thanksgiving of your blessings and help us share with those in need.
Card Party on Tuesday Afternoons
All are welcome Join with others for a friendly game of euchre or solo on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm, in the Holy Family Lenhard Room. Bring a friend. $2. Admittance
Society of St. Vincent de Paul News Christmas still seems far away, but this is the time when the Vincentians have to start planning for the Christmas hampers for the less fortunate in our community. If you, or someone you know needs a hamper for Christmas, please call the parish office. We always hear in the gospel how much Jesus loves the poor, so please, do not be shy, it is our privilege to help.
Adoration Chapel Open Hours: 2 DAYTIME HOURS Schedule an hour of prayer before the blessed sacrament. Available hours: Thursday, 10-11 am, & 1-2 pm. Don’t let fear of bad winter weather stop you – we close the Chapel at such times and you always have the option of letting us know if you cannot make it. If you can’t make a regular commitment, consider putting your name on a sub list. Holy Family School Breakfast Club seeking volunteers
Monday – Friday, whatever day works in your schedule; parents, grandparents, community members are invited to consider signing up to be a breakfast volunteer from 8 – 8:30 am. Contact Tracey at 519-506-5665 for more info.

(family) We support the Hanover Pregancy Centre, Ramoth House, Breakfast for Learning Program, Food Bands, community Meal, CLC, Ont. Regional Alliance for Life, Euthanasia Preventon, Saugeen Hospice, Bus to Ottawa for March for Life plus other pro life needs.
