Highlights:
- All Souls Day – Sun. November 2nd All Souls Day is a day dedicated to honouring and remembering our departed loved ones. It emphasizes the Catholic teaching about “the communion of saints” the spiritual connection between all faithful people, whether living or deceased. There is a special opportunity at next weekend’s Masses; you are invited to add the names of your deceased family and friends in our parish “book of life” We will be praying for names entered during the month of November. Each family is invited to light a tea light at the front of the church in special remembrance of their life. If you had someone who recently passed in the last year, you may also wish to submit the name and a digital photo of the deceased person by emailing it to sam@holyfamily.ca by Thursday, Oct. 30th. Pictures will be made into a memorial slide show. The slide show will only take place at Holy Family 6 pm & 9 am Masses, however the book of life and candle placement will take place at all at weekend Masses including St. Anne, Chesley & St. Francis Xavier, Carlsruhe.
- Community Brunch News – Join us next Sunday, Nov. 2nd following the 9 am Mass and serving until 12:30 pm in the Holy Family Lenhard Room. All are welcome. Your free will offering will go to support the replacement of new hand railings at the church.
