Highlights

• The parish office is closed on Thursday, September 30th.  Across the Diocese there will be Masses offered for the intentions of Peace and Reconciliation in connection to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
• Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, now on Tuesdays 9 am – 6:45 pm! Sign up in the Narthex. Thursday Adoration is still happening from 6-7 pm.
• Alpha begins Sept 29. Accompany a friend or family member to Alpha and change a life! Alpha is also the entry point for RCIA. Visit holyfamily.ca/alpha or call the parish office.

Covid Vaccines

The official position of the Catholic Church is that all available COVID vaccines are ethical and all Catholics who are able are encouraged to receive the vaccine.  All employees serving in the Diocese of Hamilton are encouraged to be fully vaccinated or to submit to a COVID rapid test every Monday and Thursday in order to carry out their responsibilities.  Volunteer liturgical ministers are required to be fully vaccinated.  Bishop Douglas Crosby, OMI, encourages every member of the Catholic Church within our Diocese of Hamilton to be fully vaccinated.

Operation Christmas Child

Distribution of Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes outside, before and after Mass on October 2 & 3rd, just in time to make packing a shoe box as a Thanksgiving Activity – an awesome opportunity to celebrate our abundance here in Canada. Return packed shoe boxes on the weekend of Nov. 6/7.

Children in receiving countries in Central America and West Africa are so appreciative of someone packing a gift for them, sending them God’s Love in a tangible way.
