George Benninger is seeking support for his project to help the people of Cuba. Please note this is not a parish/diocesan collection, but a personal invitation from George.

My name is George Benninger a member of this parish.
What would you do, if your parents, children, relations or neighbours only had electricity 2 hours a day, and sometimes none for 72 hours.  They could only have 1 light meal a day or none at all. Many of daily necessities and medication is not available.
This is now occurring in Cuba. I visit there 2 times a year to help the local church and people. But with your help and with your gift of unconditional love, charity and support towards are brothers and sisters in need, we can do more.
I myself with be going there in a few weeks and will be there for one month to help where I can.  Some information of the church renovation I have been involved with is in an ad on the back of this bulletin.  I also am available to answer any questions you have; my contact information is available in the printed bulletin or from the parish office. You yourself in your heart know what you can do to help. Now ask yourself; what will you do? Thank you

Reflection on Today’s Gospel
Re-read Matthew 18: 15-20
1.What funny things did you and a sibling argue about?
2.What does this passage say about the importance of counsel through others?
3.Having a trusted few to be accountable to, is a good thing. Do you have someone you seek your own accountability through? At home?
At work? In matters of faith?
