Canadian Food for Children is Canadian charity who supply food and good quality supplies to Missionaries serving in many poor countries. It began at the request of Mother Teresa to Dr. Simone of Toronto. We have been participating with this outreach for many, many years. Our volunteers pack donations which are shipped by the generosity of Cuneo’s to the Toronto Warehouse. Each month we highlight specific needs – but remember food is always the essential request.
This month our focus on Toys – toys should not require batteries or electricity. Books cannot be accepted. Suitable items include games including instructions, playing cards, small stuffed animals, baby toys, soccer balls, basketballs, building blocks, building toys, dolls, doll clothes, colouring books, crayons, markers, pencil crayons.
Our donation box is located in the Narthex. Thank you for your support to the poorest of the poor.
