I have a few reminders and some exciting information to share with you!
- Youth Meeting tomorrow night, October 1 at our NEW TIME of 7:00pm. We have a guest speaker, Mrs. Kait Grein coming to share about finding God through visual art. We are experimenting with the idea of feeding the youth something substantial after Mass/before youth group. We welcome your feedback. Feel free to bring them hungry at 7pm! Of course, we will still have a small snack at the end at 9:30pm. Pick up your youngster at 9:45 or 10:00pm.
- Travel and public events are possible this year, and we are planning to attend the Change conference in Etobicoke on October 14 and 15. It is an overnight trip, we will be indoor camping at Mary Mother of God Parish in Oakville, which is in our own Diocese. It is critical that you review the information as soon as possible and make a decision/register before Thursday so I can buy tickets! - Last but not least, please consider bringing your whole family to see the season 1 premiere of “The Chosen”, a TV series based on the life of Jesus. There are two viewings of episode 1 available, one on Wednesday, October 5 at 6pm at Holy Family School, offering free childcare for kids 0-9, and on Thursday, October 6 at 7pm at the Paramount Theatre. These are both free and both include a free snack and drink. Please feel free to invite someone to join you! Look at the attached flyer for details.
