    Reflection on Today’s Gospel

    Luke 24: 13-35
When you are really down, do you want to be alone or with others?
What is something that might trigger a spiritual crisis for you? (ie: financial panic, anger with God over personal tragedy, disappointment, doubts, family issues, disillusionment, lack of direction from God)
Have you come close to “throwing in the towel” and giving up on your relationship with God? If so, what brought you back to faith?
What helps you recognize Jesus alongside you when you are down? (ie: taking time to be alone with God, talking with someone who cares, reading scripture, receiving communion, getting away from the situation, other?)
