Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord

“You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen, he is not here”

Simon, are you asleep? Could you not watch one hour?

I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.

For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for the good works that God has prepared

Jesus answered and said to them,
“Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.”

Take your son Isaac, your only one, whom you love and go to the land of Moriah. There you shall offer him up

See, I am now establishing my covenant with you and your descendants after you

Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand, touched him, and said to him, “I do will it. Be made clean.”

He told them “Let us go on to the nearby villages that I may preach there also. For this purpose have I come.”
