Sunday’s Gospel was the encounter between the twelve and Jesus, in particular, the experience of Thomas who had missed an encounter the others had earlier and thus, doubted whether it was really Jesus back from the dead.
We want to highlight the happy fact that Jesus still calls people to follow him, to encounter him in a very personal way. Also, as our parish continues to sent out apostles into the world on mission, we will see more and more the Holy Spirit’s introduction of Jesus to those once lost.
Claire is a member of our parish, plays keyboard in our Saturday vigil Mass choir, and is a member of our youth group. She encountered Jesus when she was 11 years old and entered the Church the following year. Watch the video below to hear her story!
